Oncological gynecology department

The oncological gynecological department meets the most modern international requirements for departments for the treatment of patients with malignant and benign neoplasms of the female sexual sphere.

The department is deployed for 40 beds. Oncogynecology department performs the full volume of in-depth diagnostics of malignant, precancerous and benign tumor diseases of the reproductive organs of the female body using modern methods of world oncology. In the diagnosis of oncogynecological diseases, modern endoscopic, radiographic and radiological methods of research are widely used. In surgical treatment, the principles of individualization, sparing and organ-saving methods are used, especially for patients of reproductive age.

In terms of surgical treatment, advanced operational approaches are used, laparoscopy, both diagnostic and therapeutic, and histoscopy. The operating unit allows you to perform up to six operations per business day. The department has a full range of facilities, including specialized: examination, procedural, manipulation rooms, equipped with modern equipment, facilities for medical staff. If it is necessary to use combined, complex treatment, patients are consulted by a radiologist, chemotherapist. In each case, the treatment plan is discussed collectively in accordance with the republican standards.

All the doctors, with the exception of a young specialist, underwent a primary specialization in oncosurgery and medical radiology at the RNPTs OMP. N.N. Alexandrova. A number of doctors have completed their studies in clinical residency in oncosurgery on the basis of the Department of Oncology and Radiation Therapy of the State Medical University.
