Great interest is shown in organ-preserving surgeries for cancer of the tongue and oral cavity, all advanced resections are performed with one-stage plastic techniques by methods developed by V.V. Tatchichin. Organ-saving operations in laryngeal cancer, voice rehabilitation in larynxectomized patients, tracheoesophageal shunting.
